Add to Briefcase: Internet Explorer menu extension

This download adds a new option to Internet Explorer context menu (a menu that appears when you right-click somewhere on the web page or on the selection you made on a web page).
The new menu option appears as "Textus: Add to Briefcase".

How to install

Click here and select to save the file on your computer. Once the download is complete, double-click on the file icon, and unpack its content somewhere on your computer, then start unpacked program to install this tool. The program will then automatically install the menu extension on your computer.
You have to close all the instances of Internet Explorer before the installation has effect on your context menu. For problems during installation read Troubleshooting section below

Requirements:
1. You must have Internet Explorer 5.5 or higher installed.
2. You must have right to install software on your computer. (If your computer is part of local area network, your network administrator may have limited some rights for security reasons).

How to use

Once the menu extension is installed, run Internet Explorer and load a web page. Select a text fragment that you would like to add to the briefcase and right-click onto the selection. Context menu will pop-up with usual options (Copy, Select All, Print). Now it will also contain new option "Textus: Add to Briefcase". Select this option and you will be lead to standard wizard for choosing a Briefcase and the target folder for new Textus briefcase entry.

Troubleshooting (Installation Problems)

SYMPTOMS
AddToBriefcase cannot be installed.
System reports one of the following errors:

  1. Error starting program: A required.DLL file, MSVBVM60.DLL, was not found
    or(and)
  2. Error executing the specified program - …PrGInstallMenuExt.exe
    or(and)
  3. Add to Briefcase Tool - Unable to execute the specified command line!

CAUSE
The problem occurs because file MSVBVM60.DLL is not present or registered on your computer.

SOLUTION
To install MSVBVM60.DLL on your computer perform the following steps:

  1. Download ZIP file MSVBVM60.ZIP
  2. Unzip this file into windows system folder. Depending on the version of the operating system on your computer this can be “c:\windows\system”, "c:\winnt\system" or some other similar folder
  3. Start RegDLL.bat (double-click in File Explorer). You should get a confirmation message.
You can start the installation of "Add To Briefcase Tool" again.
